All you need to do is cast or attack with Sephiroth, sacrifice one of your other creatures to draw a card, and each opponent will be forced to sacrifice a creature as well
Some folks have argued that its a little too much like Upheaval in that the caster gets to float mana and do additional things (especially since the lands enter the battlefield untapped), but that analogy breaks down because the opponents also get to float mana and have untapped lands
When that happens, you might not be able to do anything about it

Its not hard to line the bird up against an opponents fetch land or Rampant Growth, and Wan Shi Tong can become a sizeable threat over time, if it didnt already start out that way when you cast it
They make you slow down to figure out whats going on with the card (kinda like they do to the gameplay, as well!)
